Additional Information

CCOHS programs involve travel relating to program delivery. Many of our travel costs are offset by re-imbursements from other organizations which we work with.

As part of our mandate for promotion, CCOHS has exhibits at some 20-25 events or conferences across Canada and on occasion internationally. CCOHS is located in Hamilton, Ontario and though a national centre does not have regional offices. Conferences provide an opportunity for regional populations to interact directly with CCOHS staff. These events also provide opportunities for outreach, awareness building and promotion of occupational health and safety services provided by CCOHS.

As part of our mandate, CCOHS hosts a bi-annual Forum on Occupational Health and Safety. Forum IV- Better Together was a national Forum that brought together participants from each province and three caucus groups to discuss mental health in the workplace. Travel and conference fees will reflect this event every other year.
