New Tri-national Occupational Safety and Health Web site launched in Canada, the United States and Mexico

The Tri-national Occupational Safety and Health Working Group under the North American Agreement on Labour Cooperation (NAALC) announced the launch of a Web site (www.naalcosh.org) to promote and improve safety in the workplace. The web site provides valuable links to information to promote public education and encourages the ongoing exchange of best practices on programs, projects and activities relating to workplace health and safety issues in Mexico, the United States and Canada. The website is available in Spanish, English and French.

Dr. P.K. Abeytunga, VP and Director General of CCOHS represents Canada on the Sub Group for the NAFTA Tri-National Web Page, one of four subgroups established to foster ongoing cooperation by the three governments in occupational safety and health.

The fourth meeting of the Tri-national Working Group will be held in Toronto, Ontario April 26 and 27, 2004 in conjunction with the Industrial Accident Prevention Association's Annual Health & Safety Conference and Trade Show.
