WHMIS Training for Managers and Supervisors

A new e-learning course from CCOHS provides information to help those with managerial and supervisory responsibilities understand WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System) and protect people working with hazardous materials.

WHMIS for Managers and Supervisors, helps familiarize supervisors and managers in workplaces where chemical products are used, understand the basics of WHMIS as well as their duties and responsibilities under WHMIS regulations. The course also includes practical advice and basic health and safety measures that can be taken to protect employees and prevent workplace injuries and illnesses.

The course, which takes about 50-60 minutes to complete, is delivered over the Internet in an e-learning format that makes training easily accessible and cost effective. In addition to managers and supervisors, this e-course is a valuable tool for human resources and safety professionals with responsibilities for training and compliance.

It is offered at introductory pricing, a 25% savings, until November 30, 2005

More information about the course is available on the CCOHS website.
