E-course Tailored to Organizations in the Canadian Federal Jurisdiction

CCOHS has a new e-course targeted specifically to health and safety committees in the federal jurisdiction. The e-course can be used as a part of the training that the Canada Labour Code, Part II requires of employers – to provide health and safety training to members of policy and health and safety committees and representatives.

Health and Safety Committees in the Canadian Federal Jurisdiction provides health and safety committee members and representatives, managers and human resources a practical introduction to the roles and responsibilities of a committee and its members. It offers guidance on how to establish a new committee, have it function effectively and how to resolve health and safety concerns.

As with all CCOHS e-courses, participants can contact CCOHS subject specialists to ask specific questions that may arise. There are quizzes throughout and a certificate of completion is issued upon passing the exam.

CCOHS courses are unique in that they are developed by experts in the field, and reviewed by representatives from labour, employers and government to ensure the content and approach are unbiased and credible.

Registration and pricing information is available on the CCOHS website.
