Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety Expert to Speak at Emergency Medical Services Conference

 

HAMILTON, ON (October 23, 2012) – Technical Specialist Dhananjai Borwankar of the Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety (CCOHS) will be speaking at an upcoming conference focusing on emergency medical services.

Drawing on his expertise in the elimination, reduction and control of hazards for Canadian workplaces, Mr. Borwankar’s presentation will focus on the possible health hazards associated with shift work.

 

Specifically, he will address how to evaluate different shift work patterns and extended workday challenges, and offer tips to workers and organizations on how to implement strategies and better shift work design to minimize these health effects.
