CCOHS to present Safely Climbing the Social Media Ladder at the Partners in Prevention Conference

HAMILTON, ON (September 30, 2010) – Krista Travers, marketing communications officer at the Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety (CCOHS), will be presenting Safely Climbing the Social Media Ladder at the Partners in Prevention Health and Safety Tradeshow and Conference in Ajax, Ontario, on Thursday, October 7.

This session will discuss how CCOHS uses tools like Twitter, Facebook and SlideShare to promote workplace health and safety. Attendees will understand the basics, learn important do’s and don’ts for building an online presence, and walk away with ideas on how to incorporate various social media tools to support health and safety initiatives.
