RICHMOND, BC (October 13, 2009) - The Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety (CCOHS) is hosting their 95th Public Council of Governors Meeting on Thursday, October 15, at 9:00 a.m. at the WorkSafeBC offices in Richmond, British Columbia.

CCOHS is governed by a tripartite council representing three key stakeholder groups: government (federal, provincial and territorial), employers, and labour, which assists in delivering a trustworthy and complete occupational health and safety service, and ensures that the information CCOHS disseminates is unbiased. Members of the council include representatives from the Canadian Labour Congress, United Steelworkers Union, Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters and the Canadian Chemical Producers’ Association.
