Get the Real Deal on Mould, Spores and More

Hamilton, ON (February 24, 2011) – Mould is everywhere, including the workplace, and managing mould issues can be difficult and complicated. To provide workers and workplaces with an understanding of the basic issues surrounding mould in the workplace, the Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety (CCOHS) will be presenting Mould, Spores and More: The Real Deal.

This webinar will be presented by Chris Liddy, occupational health & safety specialist at CCOHS, who holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science and a Master of Science, Environmental Biology. It will include an overview of the general principles and approaches used to manage the issue effectively. Mr. Liddy will discuss how to ensure effective communication between stakeholders, and will include real world examples so that workplaces without experience in this issue can interact successfully with professionals and address a mould problem when it arises in the workplace.

The webinar will take place on Wednesday, March 9, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. EST, and registrants qualify for certification maintenance points from the American Board of Industrial Hygiene (ABIH), Canadian Registered Board of Occupational Hygienists (CRBOH) and the Ontario Kinesiology Association (OKA).

More information on this webinar and registration can be found on the CCOHS website.
