HAMILTON, ON (March 15, 2012) – The Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety (CCOHS) announced that it would host a national forum to discuss how workplaces can collaborate on integrated, comprehensive approaches to total health and wellness at work. CCOHS’ Forum IV: Better Together will be held October 29 to 30, 2012, in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
CCOHS’ Forum IV brings together representatives from Canadian, provincial and territorial governments, employers and labour organizations as well as subject experts to share their knowledge, perspectives and collective experience around complete worker health. The event will feature speaker sessions, panel discussions, group workshops, and an innovation and best practices showcase.

This event will bring Canadians together, in collaboration with world renowned experts, to discuss important issues that affect total worker health, safety and well-being such as bullying, violence and mental health. Through the key discussion topics of mental health, psychosocial work factors and musculoskeletal disorders, harassment and bullying, and integrated workplace health and safety, participants will be encouraged to work together towards solutions for the total health of workers.
