ILO Encyclopaedia plus CISILO - now in French

CCOHS officially released the French version of the ILO Encyclopaedia plus CISILO on October 1, 2004. Now this comprehensive health and safety encyclopaedia, bundled with a leading OSH database that has long provided jargon-free answers to the most critical questions involving workplace health and safety, is available in both English and French.

Produced by the International Labour Organisation (ILO) with input from more than 1,000 health and safety experts in more than 60 countries, the ILO Encyclopaedia?s unprecendented breadth of coverage makes it a trusted source for environmental, health and safety professionals.

ILO Encyclopaedia plus CISILO users can switch between English and French. With just a click on the "language" link, users are taken to the corresponding page in the other language.

CCOHS includes the CISILO database as an ideal complement to the ILO Encyclopaedia. CISILO is a bilingual, bibliographic database that provides references to international occupational health and safety literature from all member states of the ILO network. With more than 55,000 international documents, CISILO makes it easy and convenient to research accident prevention, ergonomics, health care issues, hazardous occupations and other relevant OSH topics.

ILO Encyclopaedia plus CISILO can be searched in English or French for free at www.ilocis.org, but users must subscribe to the databases to gain access to the document(s).

This unique combination of resources is only available on the web from CCOHS, and now with the addition of the French language version, even more people will be able to access this wealth of information ? in their own language.

More pricing and information about the databases is on available on the CCOHS website.
